Some wedding days just have it all, and Cate and Alex’s October wedding in Columbus was one of them.
Their day started at The Junto Hotel, where everyone got ready before heading into downtown Columbus for portraits. From there, we made our way to the Ohio Statehouse, which gave us the perfect timeless backdrop for wedding party photos and portraits of the newlyweds.
The celebration continued at The Boat House in Columbus, overlooking the river and the city skyline. Between the fall weather, beautiful Columbus backdrops and a packed dance floor to finish the night, Cate and Alex’s wedding was such a fun day to photograph from beginning to end.
As a Columbus, Ohio wedding photographer, I love wedding days that give us the opportunity to use different parts of the city and create a gallery with plenty of variety. From the modern feel of The Junto to the classic architecture of the Ohio Statehouse and waterfront views at The Boat House, Cate and Alex’s day was the perfect example.
